A Child Called It by Dave Pelzer

A Child Called It is written by Dave Pelzer.  This is an amazing autobiography.  I would suggest this book to a mature reader only.  You won't find it in our Elementary School library.  Dave Pelzer  was a young boy when he started getting abused by his mother, Cathrine Pelzer.  Dave barely ate any food at all!  Dave would have to do all the chores in the house and when he was done his reward was a little scrap of food for dinner, or he would get locked up in the basement till it was time for dinner or bed time. I don’t think abuse is good for this world so don’t abuse!!  Do you think that Dave will survive?  Will he escape from this bad place?
