Friendship According to Humphrey by Betty G. Birney

Friendship According to Humphrey by Betty G. Birney is a wonderful story about a very smart, very golden hamster that helps all his friends in their time of need. I think that this book is a feel good book for all ages.  I love this book so much, it has so many creative characters.  If you want to learn more about this book, you should read this book.  Find out about a small little hamster who climbs a very tall table leg to get to the floor from a curtain. This is a very adorable book, and at the end of every chapter a famous philosopher or writer writes an inspirational quote. One of my favorites is, “Friendship is one mind two bodies", or, “All things are in common among friends.” The relationship between Humphrey and Og reminds me of my cat, Midnight.  He doesn't like my new puppy.  He always smacks him around.  This book reminds me of another book.  It's called Ten ways to make my sister disappear.  The two sisters don’t get along at all but they come a long way by the end of the book.  Betty G. is a genius.  I wonder if she’ll make a part two to this book?
