The Serpents Shadow by Rick Riordan

The Serpents Shadow is written by Rick Riordan.  Riordan is very popular for his other series Percy Jackson and the Olympians. In this book Carter and Sadie Kane have to save the world from an Egyptian chaos god named Apophis.  If they don’t stop him, Apophis will swallow the sun god Ra and plunge the world into darkness. They use staffs and wands to fend off the minions Apophis has thrown at them. Can they save the world? Will they lose more comrades? Can they restore ma’at? You can find out in The Serpents Shadow.
