Have you ever wanted to read a book that is funny and made you think about your siblings? There is a book called Sisters by Raina Telgemeier. It’s a graphic novel. It’s about two sisters who go on a road trip and fight about everything. This book reminded me of my brothers. They are really annoying in a funny way. I really enjoyed this book, and if you read it you will too.

Raina Telgemeier, has done it again, with another stunning book, Sisters. It will remind you of when you and your siblings are fighting. Riana and her sister, Amara are always fighting and never can stop yelling. They are going on road trip for a week and they can’t stop, so when they get in trouble they ignore each other. They are driving home and the car breaks down. Raina’s mom and her little brother Will, hitchhike to get a tow truck, while Raina and Amara are left in the car. They are scared, but when they find out Amara’s pet snake is loose in the car, things go from crazy to insane. Will they get the snake out? When are Will and their mom getting back? Have to read the book to find out.

Sisters by Raina Telgemeier is a great book. It has a great message. The message that I took from this book was, take off your headphones and pay attention to your surroundings.I really liked when Mango (the snake) got out of the bag. Raina freaked out when she found out that there was a snake in the van. Since it was a comic book, the picture was really funny. I have a connection to Raina. I have a sibling and she always asks for my stuff. I usually respond like Raina. I get mad and shut them out. I know that’s not the best answer to this problem. It’s not the best way to react so “think before you speak”. I think you should most definitely read the book, like NOW!
Sisters is a graphic novel about family life and siblings by Raina Telgemeier. Raina has always wanted a baby sister and once Amara (the baby sister) came along, Raina started having second thoughts. Amara and Raina have a bit of a sibling rivalry and sometimes, well mostly, do things that get on each others nerves, like when Amara lost her pet snake and Raina flipped out. When they go on a road trip together and have to stay in a car together for days they lose their minds. Will Raina find Amara’s lost snake? When their car loses gas and their mom goes out and looks for help, Raina and Amara are forced to work together to tolerate each other and get Amara’s lost snake back into the wild before their mom comes back.
