Hunger Games: Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins

Hunger Games: Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins is the second book in the Hunger Games series. It is about how the districts are rebelling against the capitol and evil President Snow. President Snow wants everyone to know the capitol is boss. Past winners Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark go back in the arena and team up with other tributes to rebel and defeat the Capitol.

I personally love this book by, Suzanne Collins. It is one of my favorite books in the series. I think the beginning is pretty slow, but once you get into the book you really get into the book! I recommend it for people who love action.

In Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins, it is a year after the 74th hunger games and a girl named Katniss Everdeen and a boy named Peeta Mellark find out that the 75th hunger games will have 2 victors from each district 1 girl and 1 boy. Katniss knows she has to be in the 3rd quarter quell with either Peeta or Haymitch. When the victors get chosen, Haymitch was chosen, but Peeta volunteers as tribute. After a couple hours they arrive and they watch tapes to learn about their enemies, and who they are. Once they finally enter the hunger games a guy named Finnick Odair and Mags team up with Katniss and Peeta. Now they can only hope to survive from the other victors. But after the hunger games something changes about Peeta.

I would recommend this book because it’s a good series with lots of suspense, action, and more. It also has both a book series and a movie series. It's a great book to read at night. This is why I would recommend The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.
