Dog Man: Mothering Heights by Dav Pilkey

Dog Man: Mothering Heights by Dav Pilkey is about Dog Man, who has to go through the troubles of having a cone on his head. Lil’ Petey who keeps trying to keep Petey on his good side. As well as Petey who is trying to be on tv without any interruptions. All in all, all the characters have their own problems that they’re all going through.

I think that this book is really funny, has a lot of action and is easy for anyone to read. Although I do suggest that you should read all the other dog man books before you read this one. I really like this graphic novel series and I believe it is the best.

Heroes of Olympus: The Blood of Olympus by Rick Riordan

Heroes of Olympus: The Blood of Olympus by Rick Riordan is filled with action packed scenes. This book leads you into a world that you just wish you could enter. With gods and monsters, join these heroes as they save, or try to save the world from Gaea.

I mean does that not remind you of your other favorites? It reminded me of my favorites, one of which was Harry Potter. And it isn’t even a complete rip off of Harry Potter so you will STILL fall in LOVE with it. Kind of funny as well, two of our heroes once had to wipe the disturbingly disgusting feet of a pirate, or they would die! Will the heroes survive, or will they die? Find out now in Heroes of Olympus 5: Blood of Olympus.

Recess Warriors: Bad Guy is a Two-Word Word by Marcus Emerson

Recess Warriors: Bad Guy is a Two-Word Word by Marcus Emerson is about two kids who get into crazy adventures at school with  werewolves, vampires, cowboys, and pirates. The playground becomes a war zone and dodge ball becomes war. The two heroes, Yoshi and Clinton try to save the day, but can't always help. Some crazy things happen. There's a cowboy who stays in a room hidden in the school, and whoever is IT for freeze tag turns into ice. Will they try to unite to defeat the villain named the Jinx and her boss Simon? Also you’ll want to know why everyone does what Simon says.

I like this book because I like graphic novels. This is a book in a series. I hope you like it.

The Long Haul by Jeff Kinney

Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul by Jeff Kinney is a book about a kid named Greg that goes on a terrible road trip with his family. In the book the Heffley’s go on a terrible road trip that Greg's mom planned. There was not enough space so Greg was squished in the back and with not a lot of space who knows what will happen?

I’ve only read this book and the first book, and these two books made me want to read the rest of the book in the series. But The Long Haul will be my favorite book because it's about a  road trip  that goes horribly wrong. The book made me think about times when me and my brother fight. It’s like I’m greg and my brother is Rodrick. My brother always used to kick me off of xbox. I also love this book because I’ve also watched all the movies and I like to compare them and see what's different .

The book Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul by Jeff Kinney is about Greg Heffley, who goes on a road trip to Disney World. The story takes place inside his family's car. In the middle of the story they even get a pig. The characters are Greg, Rodrick, mom, dad, Rowley, and Manney. When they go in the car, it turns out to be a bad car ride. Read the book to find out what happens.

My thoughts and feelings are that this book was good, but I’ve read only one book, then this one.  I wanted to read this book because I’ve been on a long car ride to New York and it was bad.  Also I wanted to read this book because I thought the first one I ever read was funny, so I wanted to read this one. This book was more of a problem book, but also a funny book at the same time. I thought this book was unique.

The Long Haul by Jeff Kinney is about a kid named Gregory who is going on a road trip with his family. There is not a lot of room so there will be some problems along the way to their destination. They make some stops that might become trouble. This road trip might be the last one they want to have. With all the bad luck coming their way they might end the vacation before it even starts.

I liked this book because this is kind of like my life. In my family there is not a lot of room in the car, it takes a long time to get to the place we want to go, but in the end, we all have fun and we end up forgetting what happened a few hours ago.

Zombie Baseball beatdown by Paolo Baciagalupi

Zombie Baseball beatdown by Paolo Bacigalupi is a great book about a kid called Rabi that sees his coach as a zombie and the government told him to keep it as a secret. His friends also saw the zombie. So they have to keep it a secret and if any zombies try to eat them, they got three baseball bats to kill it. Will Rabi get bit? Or will he survive the apocalypse?

The book is great and you should read it! I love that it connects to his problems in the real world turning into him being a hero and trying to kill the zombies. It reminds me of when I played baseball. He was just like me because none of my teammates would’ve cooperated.

Sidekicks by Jack D. Ferraiolo

This book is Sidekicks by Jack D. Ferraiolo. If you like superheroes, then you’re in for a big surprise.  In this book a kid named Scott finds out how some superheroes can be evil and super-villains can be good.  This book is filled with a lot of action, a little bit of mystery, and some comedy.  I highly recommend this book if you are into superheroes, action, mystery, and comedy combined.  Also be aware this book is a mature one.
