In the book Hero by Sara Lean, a little boy was in a store called Sonic Boom, when suddenly he felt the ground shake. His dog was right next to him. He ran outside, but then the ground collapsed, the dog fell into the sinkhole. The little boy stayed at the side of the sinkhole with his dog. This book reminds me of a something that I read in a newspaper. It was about when a sinkhole happened in Pennsylvania. Nobody died, but several people were injured and they had to close the road for more than 5 months.
