Whatever After Sink or Swim by Sarah Mlynowski

Sarah Mlynowski writes amazing books. The books are filled with chapters that are so interesting and will draw you into the book. When you read Whatever After Sink or Swim, you can’t put it down!  Abby and her brother Jonah have a magic mirror in their basement that brings them to a fairy tale world, from Beauty and the Beast to the Little Mermaid!

In this book they go to the fairy tale land of the Little Mermaid. I have seen the movie the Little Mermaid. The sad thing is that mermaids aren't real. But I have been in the ocean before. Will Abby and Jonah save the Little mermaid?

Emily Windsnap and the Land of the Midnight Sun by Liz Kessler

Emily Windsnap and the Land of the Midnight Sun by Liz Kessler is a very adventurous book. Neptune has bad nightmares and sends Aaron and Emily to the land of the midnight sun to stop the evil force that is giving Neptune nightmares. While they are exploring, along the way, they meet some surprising creatures. They also meet Neptune’s brother in the book. By the end of this book, you will wish this was your normal everyday life, swimming and going on adventures.  If you are interested in adventure and mystery, this is the book for you. I really enjoyed this book, and so will you.

Forgive My Fins, by Tera Lynn Childs

Forgive My Fins, by Tera Lynn Childs, is a book about a girl named Lily who has a huge crush on a swimmer named Brody, but something happens and now she’s stuck with Quince.  Lily is a mermaid, the princess of Thasslainia.  In this book, a mermaid can’t have a boyfriend then break up with him for no reason.  They have to go through a long separating routine that might not even work. The story takes place at school and in the ocean.  When I was little I used to pretend I was a mermaid when I was in the pool.  I think this book is funny and exciting.  When I first started the book I didn't really like it, but once I got to the middle of the book I loved it!  I would totally recommend this book to anyone who might like mermaids or drama.
