Magic Thief by Sarah Prineas

One class is reading Magic Thief by Sarah Prineas with me.  The book is really getting exciting now, but I know there were a few students who had trouble getting into it in the beginning.  So, I'd like to know what your opinion is now?  What do you think of the book?  Who is your favorite character?  Why do you like the book now, if you weren't crazy about it in the beginning?

Anyone want to predict what is causing the magical decay in Wellmet?

    at first i disliked it very strongly but then it started to get really good after he found his locus magilicus!!!!!!

    i think the magic thief was a great book i read it for a bookclub once and i lovedv it i read it 4 months ago. by Karate Kid

    Regarding iluvmyself's comment:

    That was quite a surprise yesterday, wasn't it. Can you imagine how Nevery felt? We, as the reader, know that he can trust Con. But Nevery doesn't get to see inside Con's head and hear his thoughts like we do. So, now Nevery doesn't trust Con because he kept something so important from him. If you found out someone was keeping something important from you, would you end up not trusting them after that? Why do you think Con didn't tell Nevery about Crowe?

    my brothers class read this book and i asked how it was and most of the class liked it maybe besides 2 people but thats all.so if that many people liked it so i thought i might like it so i read it and i didnt like it that much now i read books by avi and i like them
