Our Solar System by Seymour Simon

Our Solar System by Seymour Simon is about the solar system and the book tells you all the information about the planets in the solar system. Its genre is non-fiction. Personally, my favorite part of the book is when I read all about Mars and how back then people thought there were canals on the planet.

I think this book is really interesting to read and educational to the people who want to learn about astronomy. I feel this book will be very helpful for learning astronomy.

Schoolgirl by Osamu Dazai

Schoolgirl by Osamu Dazai starts with a translator's note. It then begins by saying how the girl hates mornings and how she disagrees with how people say morning’s are great. After you realize she is annoyed about mornings because she explains how morning feels weird after her father’s death and how she can’t get over it.

This is Dazai’s first book. This book is realistic about the female protagonist’s life, but the translator's note explains it is really written about the author, Dazai's life. It’s not funny nor has any humor. It's a very serious book about how Dazai didn’t like his life.  This reminds me of the world, because no one really agrees with life and some people don’t like life.

Dork Diaries: Tales from a Not-So-Dorky Drama Queen by Rachel Renee Russel

Dork Diaries: Tales from a Not-So-Dorky Drama Queen by Rachel Renee Russel is a great book!!  Why, do you ask? Well Dork Diaries is a teen event book and it has events that you might have experienced or made connections with before. It would make a fantastic movie in my opinion. but if you go on the author’s page they have a podcast.

You might have a connection with this book that you might have experienced too because the girl in this book Nikki, is being bullied by this girl Mckenzie. You might have experienced getting bullied and you would make a connection with this book. You might have ups and downs like Nikki too.

The title describes it because it is a teen Diary and that teen is Nikki. Nikki has a lot of crazy events in her life but it all makes it worth it in the end. This book will remind you of a regular teen movie.  This book kind of connects to me because once my diary was taken but it wasn't from my bully, it was from my sister!

I would recommend this book because there's so much drama in Nikki's life you won't believe it, but in this typical book NIKKI GETS HER DIARY TAKEN AWAY AND EXPOSED! Look at the rest of the series and find out more about Nikki’s life!

The Pack by Lisi Harrison

The Pack by Lisi Harrison has a girl group that Sadie (a New girl) wants to join. Sadie has a crush on an off-limits private-school boy. The girl that started the group's name is Lindsy, otherwise known as the queen bee. Sadie doesn't join a normal middle school… She joins a school named Charm House which has students that have magical powers.

I think you should read this because it is a story that maybe you can relate to in your own life. Sadie was me in 2nd grade when I transferred to my elementary school. Sadie was nervous like myself but she learned to overcome it. Someone in my class was the queen bee and she became my friend after a while.

Diary of the Wimpy Kid: The Meltdown

Diary of the Wimpy Kid: The Meltdown by Jeff Kinney Is a book about a boy named Greg Heffley who's trying to survive winter time. He is also trying to make it through middle school when he has a huge snowball fight with the kids on the flat part of the street because the kids who live on the hill of the street caught them trying to sled down the hill. They basically have a world war. Who wins? It was very close, but you have to read to find out.

In my opinion Diary of the Wimpy kid is one of the greatest book series of all time. I’ve read the whole book series and it is brilliant. It is comical, suspenseful, and awesome.

The House on the Cliff by Franklin W. Dixon

The House on the Cliff is about two brothers Frank and Joe, who are the sons of a famous detective. They have to solve a mystery about a smuggling gang. The boys use their smarts and athleticism to outwit the gang. They use their previous detective experience to solve the mystery. They face many challenges and have many close calls. This book is one of my favorite all time books and you should try reading it.

This book is very interesting and suspenseful. It is the 2nd book of the Hardy Boys series by Franklin W. Dixon and in my opinion one of the best. One of my favorite scenes is when they almost get caught spying on the gang. If you like mysteries and a lot of energy, then this is the book for you. This book relates to things that take place in the real world like crime and fraud. This book is for ages 8-12. When I read this book, I got so into the book I read for 2 hours and read 75 pages.

Magic Tree House: Dinosaurs Before Dark by Mary Pope Osborn

Magic Tree House: Dinosaurs Before Dark by Mary Pope Osborn is a book about adventures and thrills. In this one, Jack and Annie found a treehouse in the woods that they walk in. They decided to go up the wooden ladder to the little house in the tree. Jack and Annie make it up the treehouse without a problem. There are tons of books stacked and fallen over on the ground. There was this one that was open to a certain page. It had a dinosaur on the page for the picture. They say, “I wish I could go there”…………… Just then, the tree house that was still, was now spinning very fast. Then it stopped, but they weren’t in the same tree and woods. Where were they?

I love the part where they were met with a ton of dinosaurs! But this was the 1st magic treehouse book, now I want to read the rest of the series! I love how this book is very adventurous and I am too! The book reminds me of how my brother climbed a tree and I had to help him down. (He’s adventurous too). This author has written my favorite series!

Inside the NBA: Boston Celtics by Sam Moussavi is about the Boston Celtics and is a super interesting book. It gives so much information about the Celtics. The book covers what happens from the first year until when it was published. If you want to learn about the Celtics, I would recommend this book.

This book reminds me of me because I also play basketball. The Boston Celtics are a basketball team from Boston. I like this book much because I am a big sports fan. I love the Boston Celtics.

Attack on Titan by Hajime Isayama

Attack on Titan was written by Hajime Isayama. In Attack on Titan 1, there are large sized men and women that have the name “Titan”. There are different types of Titans such as colossal and normal titans. There are many more types of titans, but I don’t know all the types of titans.  People in this book have to fight to survive and are called hunters. Keep in mind this book is fiction, so it is not real. As you see on the cover of this book, there is a boy and a giant. The boy has 2 weapons in his hands and the giant has no flesh but is using its mouth to attack. There are multiple other books that are related to this book, and this type of book is called manga.

The setting of this story is in a little village surrounded by huge brick walls. Attack on Titan is one of my favorite books because of the ideas and the action, it also has its own show. There are many sad moments in this book I am aware of and I don’t like. I recommend it to people who like fiction and action, but it can get a bit violent. So I say if you like what I just said, you should read this book.

Amari and the Night Brothers by B. B. Alston

Amari and the Night Brothers by B. B. Alston is about Amari, a young Black girl who discovers a ticking briefcase left by her missing brother – and learns that her brother was a famous agent working for the Bureau of Supernatural Affairs and that there is a magical world hiding before her very own eyes. In the book, Amari and the night brothers, Amari befriends Elsie
(who is a weredragon).

I love this book because it has lots of events that are very mysterious and leave you wondering “Why did this happen?” Amari is a poor black girl who is really smart and at a whites-only school. She gets bullied a lot because she is black and also because she is poor. This book reminds me of the Harry Potter book series, just with fewer books.
