Warrior Cats Dark River, by Erin Hunter is mostly about these 5 cats, Willowpaw, Jaypaw, Hollypaw, Heatherpaw, and Lionpaw. These cats have certain bonds to Items/Cats. I will tell you a little bit about each of them.

Jaypaw is a cat who is a gray shorthair, blind, and the medicine den apprentice. While he is with Leafpool, the medicine cat, he finds an ¨Odd¨ stick, with strange claw marks. He finds this stick by feeling around for herbs on the small beach around Riverclan. He has the ability to invade dreams of other cats, but Jaypaw insisted that he doesn't ¨Invade dreams¨

Lionpaw, a gold pelted cat who´s ¨mentor¨ was a cat from Starclan, or maybe the dark forest.. While this cat helps Lionpaw to get stronger each day, the cats become more skeptical of where Lionpaw sneaks off to in the middle of the night.. While he gets stronger and more mysterious, the cats wonder where he is every single dawn. He appears to find some tunnels to meet his good friend.

Heatherpaw, a sandy pelted cat with blue-ish,lavender eyes and a devoted companion to Lionpaw, is one of the bravest apprentices. She makes up her make-believe clan with Lionpaw in the most claustrophobic tunnels, she only believes that Darkclan would be powerful enough to stop anything, only with Lionpaw of course.

Hollypaw, she's the thinker, the politician. Hollypaw believes that the warrior code is nothing more than the root to her every decision. She would hit the hardest paths in front of her deciding what's good nor bad, and sometimes those paths come to a hard stop and a turn in the tracks.

Willowpaw, the bestest friend to Hollypaw, helped her when she tried to fix the problem. Hollypaw thinks Willowpaw is a great friend. This gray musty cat, medicine cat and apprentice to Mothwing.

These 5 cats all have stories, Not together, but each other.

I really liked this book because it made me feel confident and courageous, I felt like I was a wild cat, battling to save the clans. As I read this book it felt more exciting when I dived deeper into the book. I liked reading about the 5 cats and their stories. I also have a cat named ¨Max¨ who is an outdoor cat. I like to think about this book whenever he comes back inside/outside, and think if he is a warrior just like them.
